SAMMIE LEIGH

Sammie began her makeup journey as a self-taught artist, spending hours on YouTube perfecting techniques and experimenting with the latest trends. What started as a personal passion soon grew into formal bookings and short film work, which led to a role as a Colour Specialist at Mecca — one of Australia’s leading beauty retailers.

Over the past 7 years, Sammie has worked with a diverse range of clients and briefs, from natural glowing skin to bold red carpet glamour. Her role at Mecca gave her the opportunity to be trained by global brand educators, including a masterclass with François Nars, further shaping her artistry. Beyond the chair, she has worked backstage at Australian Fashion Week and on campaigns for brands such as Saski, Peppermayo, and Hello Molly.

In 2021, she launched Sammie Leigh Artistry to bring her passion directly to clients. Whether it’s a bride on her wedding day, a model on set, or someone wanting to feel their most polished for a special event, Sammie’s approach is always the same: to create elevated, glamorous looks that feel true to the individual. Known for her calming presence and fun, welcoming energy, she strives to make every client feel comfortable, confident, and beautifully themselves.
